No drivers were required. I did the firmware update with no issues. Launchpad MK2 has Brighter LEDs, Softer and firmer pads. I do miss the pad depth travel but this may just take getting used to. The colours of Live’s clips do translate well but not accurately onto the pads (white to black shades) Did not like the Orange colour USB cable, feels less professional. I’m using the older one.

I’ve got 2 launch controls as well and experienced some midi conflicts initially. I contacted online help and they advised me to set the all the device id’s. That fixed my problems and my setup is solid now.

I really enjoy playing around with this but the software that comes with it is quite limited and to purchase the upgrade costs more than the Launchpad itself.
