I've only just started using this for headphone playback from my Windows 10 PC, and the clarity and headroom in the sound is incredible. Even though it's a refurbished model, I was extremely impressed with the apparent build quality and finish when I unboxed it. This has been on my wish list for several years because of it's superior input and output sound quality for the money, and it is exceeding my expectations so far. I really look forward to recording with this. My only minor gripe so far is that it pops and clicks when powering on/off, or during USB sync with PC during reboots. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking for a pristine, no-fuss, 2-channel recording interface.

Only used it for one evening but my initial impression is: impressed. Slightly less headroom than my last interface but it blows away my ex in sonic beautimousness. Full rich bass and shimmering highs that don't irritate. Lovely start to a hopefully long relationship.

First time focusrite user, i was for many years on other audio interfaces I recently decided to make the jumped when i saw the crazy low price of this refurbished unit. All i can say is wow this is definitely more then i bargained for the air fonction just add that prestine top and definition to your recordings which is the game changer here, my recordings need less work to sound good which is a life saver and was surprised that it was taken in charge right away by my daw no tinkering needed simple and effective yer very powerful unit simply love it

Excellent preamps, AIR function always on, really adds a nice shine to your recordings. The bundles that come with it work very well. Abletone Live 10 Lite is ok at best, you're better off with Cakewalk if you ask me, but the plugins are nice and there's plenty of them to give you a nice recording. I bought refurbished and for 510$ cad, it's a steal

I’ve been struggling with trying to get down some good recorded guitar for several years. My current interfaced was a M-Audio FastTrack Pro. After doing some research and reading reviews, I decided on the Focusrite Clarett range of interfaces. I ended up buying a factory refurbished unit directly from the Focusrite store. After installing the new unit and recording a few tracks, wow what a difference! I’m really happy with my sound now. The unit looks brand new, I can’t tell that it’s been refurbished, and it came with the full warranty and download codes. Thanks Focusrite!

Clarett 2Pre USB is a 10-in, 4-out audio interface. The two mic/line/instrument inputs can record everything from condenser mics to super-hot pickups with no unwanted distortion – Gain Halo meters make it easy for you to set the input level. The ADAT input supports an additional eight channels in combination with multi-channel mic preamps like Clarett OctoPre. Outs include two monitor outputs with anti-thump technology, a headphone output with volume control, and two line outputs. MIDI I/O is also included.

The two Air-enabled mic preamps can reproduce the input impedance, clarity and frequency response curve of Focusrite's original ISA mic preamp. Clarett 2Pre USB connects to Mac® or PC using the included standard USB and USB Type-C™ cables. Record with super-low latency through amp simulators and effects plug-ins.

Configure your routing and monitor mixes from Mac®, PC, iPad®, iPhone® or iPod touch® with user-friendly control software Focusrite Control. Additional included software is from XLN Audio, Focusrite, Softube, Ableton® and Loopmasters.
